I would love to know if FFS has this ability in the future. And what is your problem with Goodsync? if it works, why not complete your jobs via it? also, Goodsync has alternatives that can do the same job like Syncback and Gs Richcopy360 . all options are in your hand

This option is available in tools like Carbonite and Gs Richcopy 360 , maybe there is way via FSS but really have no idea

+1 for Volume Shadow Copy and also you can try Carbonite or Gs Richcopy360 , both have powerfull options to copy locked and opened files

I've since moved on to GoodSync which does that and a lot more of what I want. Very powerful in comparison. However, the features are not so obvious and its not freeware but well worth it IMO. as per my experince with GoodSync,yes it can handle this issue but also there is the best which I used too...
