I think it's just silently failing because the folders are too deep.

I was testing last night, and I think it has to do with the depth of synced folders.

I'm trying to do precisely that. By date.

The entire contents of the server are mirrored at a second location.

The only files I need to move are the new ones.

Filtering by time makes the most sense, only date modified isn't the best choice.

The source volume is 73TB.

Short of having a 73TB external HDD, the time filter is necessary.

Using accessed date, rather than modified, would solve the problem.

Maybe the solution to both of my problems is just to use a VPN, and sync my files over NFS / SMB.

I was afraid of that.

So I should be able to reverse the roles of the two machines, and have it detect moved/renamed files?

I'll lose the ability to have the machine sleep / shut down when it's done, but that's a reasonable sacrifice.

Is it possible to set a different number of FTP threads for scanning vs. the actual transfer of files? I use 30 threads to scan folders on my FTP server, but obviously things get hairy if I try and transfer 30 files at the same time. I only have ~20mbps internet.
