Hello,
I spent some time with freefilesync today and found the "use database for syncing". What is that for? What is the advantage of it?
Thanks for explaining it to me

Re: Unable to access network shares in Linux
Hello, smb does not work in all situations :( I use Linux Mint and I have a Synology NAS in my network. The easiest and fastest way to access the NAS with freefilesync is via SFTP. sftp://user@ip-adress/directory That works best for me. If you want to browse your NAS-drives with a filemanager you ha...

FFS 11.25 Won't sync between ext4 and FAT32
Hello, ffs tells me that it can'T sync my folders and files from a ext4 filesystem (Linux Mint) to an fat32 filesystem (usb stick). It tells me to use chown (change owner) but that does not work on fat32, because fat32 does not know any permissions. How can I sync between these two filesystems? Is t...

Re: notecase files are not synced
Thanks for the hint. I just copied the file and renamed it. Then I tried to sync the new file, but it did not work either. The notecase program itself is closed and I can't find any lockfiles.
