Re: how to revert to old view?
Hi guys, thanks for replying me.
I usually save older versions but my contribution [donation] is pretty recent, so i have not any previous donation version saved.
Zenju, It would be nice if you keep backup of donation versions too. Why not?
Think about it: you should take care of contributors at ...

Re: Sync online zip file with local folder
Hi Maxime, I'm very happy for you and you are welcome.
Thanks for sharing the script.
About the middle part checking in loop if FreeFileSync is closed, are you sure you need it?
The "START /w" should already block until FFS ends, right?
If it works alone, it is more clean and straight.
Daniele

Re: Sync online zip file with local folder
Hi Maxime,
if you open a command prompt, can you just type "SET" and enter to see the list of all environment variables and copy and paste here the path value?
If you can't execute FFS, there should be an explanation.
I followed my own steps and they works.
About waiting for a process before going ...

Re: how to revert to old view?
Hi, anyone can kindly tell me how to download any previous [donate version] of FFS?
I had a look at my donation page, the FAQ, the archive and the download page but if found nothing about it.
Thanks a lot.
Daniele

Re: Sync online zip file with local folder
Hi Maxime, you are welcome.
About the cd D:, as you can see, they answered to you. So that should be OK now.
About deleting the folder, after executing the batch, can you open the task manager and check if FFS is still running in the process list?
When you saved the FFS batch, did you check the ...

Re: Sync between local disk and network mounted disk (SMB) results in network stack being completely unloaded
Hi glenstar,
here below some tests I would do:
1) try to disable antivirus and any active firewall like Comodo during sync.
2) try to sync a different disk (so with different content).
If 1) gives positive result, scan your PC for any malware that could attack the shared folder when you insert the ...

Re: Three HDDs destroyed while huge-data sync
OMG, you completely lost one HDD, that's very bad! :(
I'm so sorry about it. This is a real economic damage!
If the FFS is the culprit, maybe the cause could be found in the quantity of files you asked to handle in one go.
Maybe is something FFS is not able to manage correctly.
Did you find any ...

Re: Sync online zip file with local folder
Hello Maxime,
let me see if I have well understood what you want.
For the last 3 requisites, you can use the "Update" type of sync of FFS because it does exactly it, doesn't remove from destination deleted files on source, updates updated files and adds new ones.
So the only 2 problem you need to ...

Re: Three HDDs destroyed while huge-data sync
Hello sarana,
I've been using FreeFileSync for backups since years, synchronizing thousands of GB and I have never had a problem like you described.
For a fresh copy (no need to sync), i just use the simple Windows interface.
Before saying FreeFileSync is the guilty, it would be interesting to see ...

Re: how to revert to old view?
Hi, i got the same problem with version 11.0 [Donation Edition]
The new view is messy and very hard to read.
The previous version showed filenames aligned to right (and it was already uncomfortable to read).
This new version doesn't show filenames anymore and the file size is missing on the right ...
