Never mind. Apparently you have to close the program, restart it and run the compare and sync again. As I had run the compare and sync many times without removing the errors or warnings, the key is to shut down and restart the program.

Just started using FreeFileSync. Running 6 different folders backing up from computer to NAS to Windows Storage Spaces. One run gave me an error message because a file could not be overwritten.
