Those errors are unrelated...all other drives work with those ignored errors. They are just a system file on source drive.

they are different. the external has not been sync'd for over a month. attached is what it looks like after running process.

always worked before with these 2 external drives that are my occasional backup drives - still working for other external that are my primary daily backup drives. I hit Compare FFS runs a process then both panes are blank. Any ideas why?

It only happens when syncing at the drive level (not on folders). I get this message:

Cannot open directory "/Volumes/SSD SAMPLES/.DocumentRevisions-V100".

EACCES: Permission denied [opendir]

Any way to avoid?

It is phantom files

I always use MIRROR backup - sometimes on Mac OSX side and sometimes on Windows bootcamp....but to the same backup drive from the same source drive. I have an issue where somehow some Recycle Bin related files wont delete. I suspect something happened while jumping between OS's. Anyway...See image.....
