I'm using FreeFileSync 6.12 on Mac OS 10.9. I note that the unzipped application folder and contents has permissions 'rwx------' which prevents any other user (than the user who originally unzipped the folder) from running FreeFileSync. I think that the permissions should be 'rwxr-xr-x' for ...
