Yes, you are right. Right clicking the excutable works.

But this means that the desktop short cut will not work.

I have FFS set up as an automatic task in the night. How can I make sure it is
always "run as an administrator"

As I wrote, I am logged into Windows as an administrator. So when I start FFS,
it was started with admin rights. Or is something lese necessary?

In addition: under global settings, I ticked the copy locked files option.

System:
Windows 7 Proffessional 64 bit
FFS 5.0
