Source: Network Share (UNC path/Mapped Drive)
Structure: The source files are located within subfolders that are Junction Points (not physical directories).

Anyway the problem seems to be that Windows Explorer doesn't immediately show all the directories on the NAS-share mounted as a drive. After some time - considerable time - the directly shown as missing in the error popup was shown in the Explorer, too.

The two File explorer windows show the folders from the same drive F:

There is a free utility that can mount with read write caching and might work better for you.

Gentlemen, there's no problem with OneDrive (it works very well), but there is a problem with the network drive (NAS). I sync the network drive (NAS) with OneDrive, not the other way around.

Sure, if you have/keep a copy of all your OneDrive files in your local OneDrive folder, you can perfectly (RTS) monitor and (FFS) sync that local OneDrive folder with any local or network folder, and be safe.
