Looks like I made a mistake here.
Anyway the problem seems to be that Windows Explorer doesn't immediately show all the directories on the NAS-share mounted as a drive. After some time - considerable time - the directly shown as missing in the error popup was shown in the Explorer, too.

Did you buy cloudmounter or are you using the trial?
There is a free utility that can mount with read write caching and might work better for you.
It's an app called rclone. Use the flag
--vfs-cache-mode full
When doing the mount.

Whenever NAS network connection becomes not reachable (drive goes down due to power save) FFS 14.3 will not start anymore and create a .dmp on desktop. It happens only when NAS drive was in ready state on first launch.

This will require setting up a network share on one computer that is able to be accessed by the other. This is something you do prior to FFS being involved at all
