Re: I like the new view
Sorry but I do not agree at all... :-( I have just upgraded but after this message I'll go back to v4.6 immediately - the "auto-size" option isn't available anymore and it was very usefull - the main window is now a single big one with left&right connected and without a separated horiz...

Re: Versioning on the Recycle bin
This time I do not completely agree with you... having one versioning folder
into each "side" I think is better... but I have to try to understand/"touch"
it better... :-)

Re: Detection of moved and renamed files
I may have found a bug into the move detection... For semplicity (and having different base name ) I have executed on all my three computers the command subst R: %USERPROFILE% because SyncToy do not allow using envars... Anyway, if a Mirror job is using on both side the virtual drive R: it will alwa...

Re: Versioning on the Recycle bin

Re: Versioning on the Recycle bin
I know what you mean, but having FFS handling the "fixed versioning folder" is much easier (user's point of view :-)) to manage!! For the "keep X" options take it as a very-really-low priority nice-to-have. I'm more interested on the first option: single files into the recycle bi...

Re: Versioning on the Recycle bin
What about a "fixed" versioning into a subfolder of the directories pairs? Something like creating a _FFS hidden subfolder, automatically added to the exclusion filter and where all files (db, locks, etc) should be kept. Here creating the versioning timestamped folders! You may then consid...

Re: Detection of moved and renamed files
Isn't it possibile to create/manage the database sync.ffs_db for each sync
mode? Me too I would like to have the move detection at least on the
mirror sync mode!
Anyway, mee too I would like to thank you for this great program!!!

Versioning on the Recycle bin
I have selected the option to keep deleted/change files on the Recycle Bin, but only the "root" folder FFS _DateTime_ is being trashed so if I need to just restore one specific file I have to restore all the tree! FFS should delete each single file directly from the original location and n...

Configuration saving
When a "configuration profile" is saved one has to always confirm the file overwrite option, when I change something (like a filter) on an existing configuration I just want to save it with the same name! So why not create two "Save" option? - a "Save as..." that will l...

Filtering by attributes
I'm moving to FFS after years of Microsoft's SyncToy and a two-weeks test of Allway Sync... This FFS is amazingly fast and I hope it will handle my "special" sync not correctly handled by SyncToy. I have a suggestion: add the option of filtering by attributes, either for include and/or exc...
