I'm syncing the content from my music folder (a Samsung Galaxy Note 9) to a folder on my PC (Windows 10) with MTP (USB cable). It's about 11gb and I'm using Compare (File time and size).
The first sync complete successfully. Then I edit 1 single file, unplug/re-plug the cable. When I scan for the 2nd time, FFS has to sync that whole 11gb again, not just that 1 file.
I've tested with multiple folders pairs (where 1 is on the phone and the other on the PC), this happens all the time. I'm on version 11.11
FFS syncing whole folder over and over again

Timestamps are weird on MTP devices. Try switching to File Size comparison only and see if that helps. It works for me on my Note 10

With file size comparison, FFS didn't detect any change if edited a single tag in music file (track rating). I'm now using FTP server and it's fast enough and syncing only changes is working.
