I'll start by saying that the dark theme was to me a very pleasant surprise. I've been happily using it for a long while. However, i see some opportunities for improvement, which i'll detail below.

On Ubuntu 20.04, running XFCE 4.14 with Greybird-Dark GTK3 theme, some texts are presented as black on dark or white on light. This renders them difficult or impossible to read. (See attached screenshot, please.)
Other elements have a relatively high contrast ratio, which makes the interface a little less pleasant to look at.

I understand that fixing this this may not entirely be within your reach - but if it is, it would be appreciated.
If nothing more, this gives you at least knowledge or confirmation of the situation. :)

Hello,

I'm using FreeFileSync (v. 11.10) on Ubuntu-MATE-20.04.2.
In Linux I set the dark scheme because I am using a 4k monitor.

The window looks terrible (see the attachment)!

Can something be changed there?
I can't find anything about it in the FreeFileSync settings.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

I had the same thing, all white backgrounds. I fixed most of them by switching my GTK theme from BlackMATE to Breeze-Dark . A couple other dark themes looked good, too, but I prefer this one so far.

I changed this in my system-settings app, under Theme.

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS with Cinnamon Desktop added on
