I tried to copy the Downloads/Documents folders to a folder with a date macro, something like
...\%Year%-%Month%-%Day%.
That destination folder name is ignored and e. g. Documents used again. It's even possible that two folders with the same name are shown.
Any hints are highly appreciated!

It's actually working fine, this is an issue with Windows and its desktop.ini files. FFS is mirroring over the "desktop.ini" file, which is causing the display name of the destination folders to be switched to "Documents/Desktop", respectively. Delete the destination directories you/FFS created, add "*\desktop.ini" to the exclusion filter and try again.
Usually you'd want that file since it specifies view options and stuff, which is why it isn't included in the default exclusion list, but there are edge cases like this.
