The three backup methods you mention are well known and used methods for backing-up drives or partitions, where they make sense and each have their place.
However, FreeFileSync (FFS) is, as the name suggests, a file synchronization program.
At file-level, the differential and incremental method make little sense.
Effectively, FFS always creates a full copy (backup, if you like) of each file requiring synchronization.
Contrary to backup tools using differential or incremental methods, a "backup" created by FFS can be read, recovered and restored without requiring FFS or any other synchronization/backup software tool.

I know that. It’s only an idea for a new plugin for the future of FFS. So eventually other users also want to use a backup feature like this. You can’t write it to the todo list for this program.

I mean, FFS already does this, no?
FFS doesn't re-copy data, only new info, which is essentially a differential/incremental backup. And by default, it performs a full backup

Not really. It is missing a version system.
If the FFS is count of like 10 backups, when restart with a new Full backup and delete the last old one if it is set. Read more about backup methods in the internet.

I mean a backup function like Acronis style. Please read their manual.
1) Full backup and after 10 full backups the first backup would be deleted.
2) Full Backup -> differential/incremental backups and after 10 backups, a new full backup. And after 10 backup cycles the first cycle backup would be deleted.

Ah, the problem is that FFS is not a backup utility. As such, it shouldn't be used or expected to be tailored as one. You should just use Acronis

That’s why I ask for an addon for FFS with this new feature „The three backup methods“. (With versioning support)

Perhaps you'd better ask Acronis for a solid synchronization feature? Or what's the point?

My idea was to integrate Features like the three backup methods like in the program „Personal Backup“. Also it would be nice for some other users too.
A feature like integrated scheduler for the automatic syncs and backups would be nice too.
But that must say the developers.
