Feature request: treat socket/pipe/fifo/other filetypes with warnings instead of errors

I am requesting basically the same thing as user mjdtjm2 did back in 2016.
Would you please consider adding a feature where you can choose to ignore POSIX special files, or at least switch the errors to be mere warnings? I realize I should just exclude that specific file from my sync rule, but having this additional feature could be useful in other situations too.
