This has stumped me, my old win 10 machines work fine with freesync, i can save the user file to the nas with 2 older machines, but my new machine will not save files - directories no problem.
I get an error saying that the client does not have the priveledge.

But i can copy in explorer no problem.
Ive tried freesync in admin mode and not.

what have i missed?

Because you can copy OK in File Explorer to your NAS, it seems you are running a *.ffs_batch sync job launched by the Task Scheduler or by RTS which is in turn launched by the Task Scheduler.
Note that tasks launched by Task Scheduler by default run as the System user, which almost certainly has no write access to your NAS.
If so, you should change your scheduled task to run under specified user credentials, which user has write access to your NAS locations at stake.
