Mirror identical files not recognized

I'm having a hard time getting this to work. I don't know if it's something that Windows 11 has done to screw up the files, I have this continuing problem with my first attempts using this new program for backup, but I was having the same problem on an older back up program called 2nd Copy:
From the computer NVME 1TB drive to external USB SATA and NVME drives it does the same thing. Using Mirror: On the left it shows the majority of the directories and files as needing to be copied over to the right, but the exact same files are on the right, with the same folder, file name, size. This is mostly happening with music mp3 files and the only difference I'm seen is that for some of them the dates on the left are newer than those on the right. When they were played was the date changed? It's also happening with a lot of other image files as well and most of them haven't been edited or changed in any way.
