I am trying to use FreeFileSync to create backups of Astrophotography data to a NAS. I have a batch file set to mirror my PC drive to my NAS, and everything gets copied over except files with the extension fit. This is a common extension for astronomy cameras. I created a test subdirectory with 6 fit files and gave them a different extension. They were copied properly. When I changed the extension back to fit, they were not copied. I have tried adding *.fit to the inclusion list but it does not help.
Thanks for any help!

Check your Exclude Filter.
Remove all entries there that may exclude *.fit files.
> I have tried adding *.fit to the inclusion list but it does not help.
Adding to the Include Filter does not help if files are excluded by the Exclude Filter.

Adding to the Include Filter does not help if files are excluded by the Exclude Filter.
Files and folders are only considered for synchronization if they pass all filter rules: They have to match at least one entry in the include list and none of the entries in the exclude list ...
Yes. Double-check the excludes.
Try doing a simulation with the exclude list blank.
