I have RealTimeSync active on my desktop and it syncs after 5 seconds. Whenever I want to create a new file on desktop and it takes longer than 5 seconds for me to name it, it just tries to sync this new file and it stops renaming. It´s not critical but very annoying.
Is there a fix for this? Can I set the folder for this sync_ffs_lock file to a different location so it doesn´t pop up every time?
thanks in advance
RealTimeSync stops creating new file

Apparently not, because you want to have the opportunity to change the filename first.
The only option is then to create the file in a folder that is outside the folder tree(s) being monitored by RealTimeSync (RTS), then change the filename, and only then move the file into its intended, RTS monitored folder.
Or, the simplest solution, and like xCSxXenon already suggested: set the idle time sufficiently long for you to change the filename, and accept that instead of "instantaneous" (which is shorter than 5 seconds ...) your sync will start e.g. 30 or 60 seconds after you made that change.
