hey folks - so we have had realtime sync working for a number of years (FreefileSync& RealTimeSync v10.23), to archive a documents directory tree over to another drive. we run it as a scheduled task for a specific user (David) at logon. The task is configured as
"C:\Program Files\FreeFileSync\RealTimeSync.exe" with argument "C:\Users\David\Documents\Software\FreeFileSync\DocumentsBatchRun.ffs_batch"
we wanted to add another pair to the batch file (downloads for this user, and a mirrored directory, same and adjacent to the other pair).
when we added the directory pair with FFS, perhaps we did not save it correctly? now, it pops up the batch log, and awaits user interaction.
should we change the way we are using the tool?
any suggestions greatly appreciated!
added a 2nd directory pair to a very simple mirror and things went wonky

had a few mins this am, and got it working - I had to select the 'Run minimized' and 'Auto-close' checkboxes for the Progress dialog, and the 'Ignore errors' checkbox, in the Save as a Batch file dialog. Not sure how they became "unchecked". oh well.
Curious - for those of you that run as a windows task on startup or user login, do any of you use the task conditions default of 'Stop if the computer ceases to be idle', and it's subtask 'Restart if the idle state resumes'?
