Disk full when syncing

It has happened to me on several occasions, that when synchronizing approximately one TB of information, I get a full disk error, however the source disk is not completely full, the mirror is therefore almost the same, when repeating the task it synchronizes completely without any problem.
I realized that they may have to take into account the available space before synchronizing, deleting the files to be deleted, and then copying the new files or updating them, so the error would not occur. Or make a smarter mix, as the space runs out, remove a few.
