I am trying to sync between two peer computers on a local network. I have used rsync for this before on unix and linux, but FreeFileSync looks like a great program.
1. Can FreeFileSync be used peer to peer?
2. If so, how is it configured? Or maybe better, where is the config shown in the documentation or videos?
I have seen a few postings where it was implied that a copy of FFS on two computers might be needed. I couldn't tell if that is FFS-system1 to {a filer}, and FFS-system2 from {a filer} is the configuration or if FFS-system1 can talk to FFS-system2 directly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The videos and manual show you the approach. Based on that info, you should be able to configure your sync yourself. If not, FreeFileSync (FFS) might not be the tool for you.

There is always only a single FFS instance involved in running a specific sync.
That instance can be running on any capable machine, that has access (with the correct permissions) to all left- and right locations (and their subdirectories) that are part of the sync.
