Sync setting to keep identically named files, yet each having unique different content by size. Samsung S21 Ultra 5.

Hi, my Samsung S21 Ultra 5 began reusing past file names for photos/videos which is causing a huge mess as I try to import them into a large combined folder for backup causing over-writes. Can you please propose the best sync setting to deal with this so that identically named files (with different sizes and creation dates) do not overwrite the prior unique files with the same names exist together please and thank you!

Samsung phones use the current date and time for taking pictures and videos. If it is reusing names, either the phone has gone back in time and you need to update the date/time or the names of the pictures on the computer are wrong. I would guess the latter. Personally, I would use a program that reads the metadata of the pictures and renames them based on that info. Run that on the pictures already on the computer
