I have searched the forum, and there are similar issues reported, but I can't find this specific issue. My setup: Synology NAS on my LAN. Directories are mapped in Windows 10. I am syncing from the NAS to a USB connect NTFS drive. Well over 95% of files sync properly, but occasionally some files in a subdirectory aren't copied, with the ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION message (see attached image). For example, I might be backing up a music folder and 10 out of 12 tracks copy successfully, but two give the sharing error.

What am I missing? Do I need to do something on the NAS, with the Windows shares, or FileSync to eliminate this issue? None of the files are actually in use at the time of the sync operation. Post sync, I can copy the missed files to the backup drive just using Windows native file copy.

Any pointers on where I might look to fix this appreciated!
