I use FFS "Two Way" synchronization and select "Versioning" in the settings of "Deletion handling" using naming convention "Replace" to a folder named "D:\versioning".
Computer A running FFS is local and Computer B is remote via share.
If I delete a file on Computer B, then the file on Computer A will be moved to the specified versioning-folder on Computer A. This is very fast. But if I delete a file on Computer A, the file will be copied from B to A and moved to the verioning-folder on Computer A. This is very slow (using wireless LAN with low speed... :-( )
Is there a way, that FFS uses seperate versioning-folders for each computer so that deleted files will only be moved instead of transfered to the FFS-running computer?
Thanks for your help.
Use remote versioning
