I have some files on my local hard disk (say C Drive) and I usually back it up on my external USB hard disk (using FFS). However, the computer am using now does not have USB write and the USB is read only. So I can compare these two folders but after the comparison is done, I cannot synchronize because the USB is read-only. Is there a way I can write the files that were modified to a CD/DVD using the DVDRW drive that I have. That is, do the comparison using FFS between hard disk and USB drive, using hard disk as the source and USB as target and then "somehow" export the list of files or "somehow" copy the files that were modified (or the newer ones on the hard disk) to a CD/DVD as I can write a CD on my current machine. Thanks.

There is no automatic way to do this. But you can easily get at the list of files: Just setup FFS view filters to show all the files you are interested in, then either "export as CSV" or just select + "CTRL + C" to copy into clipboard.
With this list you can then create a .cmd file that copies the files.
