Switching from Windows to Linux

Hello!

Can I configure FFS so it executes the same task regardless of which OS I am using at the moment?
I want to dual-boot Windows and Linux and my backup should start automatically each day at 5 PM (viewtopic.php?t=11367)

So, I must install FFS on both Windows and Linux because I do not know which OS will I be on at 5 PM on a particular day.

Will FFS "know" how to "pick up" where the other FFS left? As per my understanding, FFS keeps track of which files are copied so that if there are no changes since the last backup, nothing will happen.

Of course, I will always wait for a backup task to finish before I switch OS. The question is not about continuing the current backup process.

The unwanted scenario is to do the initial backup each time I switch OS.

I want to use the "Mirror" method.
