Hi new to the Forum and looking to use FreeFile Sync with Windows Task Scheduler.
At the moment I have a couple of backups saved ready to automate.
If I manually run them, they fail unless I have started FFS with administrative privileges.
So if I schedule them to run under Task Scheduler, will I need to do anything special ?
The backups are from a laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate) USB external drive across a wireless network into a NAS server.
Thanks.

Set it up just like any other task that you would run in task scheduler. Be sure to set it up as a user that has all the privileges that your sync routine needs. i.e. File and folder privileges.

Thanks, I'll give it a go.
