I accidentally have overwritten original files (settings in FFS: "update" and comparing by "content") with dummy files (same name without content). I found in the recycle bin 1278 files (141 GB) with suffixes like "FFS 2013-01-06 114904" of the 2379 overwritten files. Why are the other files, the rest of the 2379 files not shown there? Where could I find them?
And why is it possible at all that the overwritten files are in the recycle bin? Did FFS moved them to it? I would think overwritten files would not be moved to the recycle bin. Is there an option?
Accidentally original files overwritten: restoring possible?

FFS treats overwritten files the same as deleted files. So checkout what setting you used for "deletion handling" in synchronization settings.

Many thanks, Zenju.
<<<"deletion handling" in synchronization settings
"Recycle Bin" is activated there.
<<<FFS treats overwritten files the same as deleted files.
OK, that means FFS has moved these files to the recycle bin. And whether it should do so I can set here: deletion handling" in synchronization settings.
Thanks again.
