Hello
I am using FreeFileSync on a Win7 to synchronize my files from a Fedora computer to the Win7 computer. The folders on the Fedora Computer are shared using a Samba Server providing a share which is mounted as a Network-Drive on the Win7 Computer. Under Fedora 17 anything works fine but after an upgrade to Fedora 19 I am getting the following error message:
"Die Dateiattribute von "Z:\XXXX\YYYYY.dat" können nicht gelesen werden.
Fehlercode 58: The specified server cannot perform the requested operation. (GetFileInformationByHandle)"
The first lines says that the attributes of the files on the Sambashare could not be read.
This error occurs at the attempt to synchronise the files, the comparison works fine and seems to give reasonable results. I am using an "update"-Syncronisation from the Samba share to the Win7 computer, I have just upgraded to FreeFileSync 6.12 x64 build Nov 30 2014, I have deleted the sybc.ffs_db files and I have used a new configuration, not a saved one, nothing solved that problem. Any ideas how to get it working again?
Thanks a lot
Uli
