Running the latest version of FFS on Win 7. I created a back to an external hard drive with drive letter E:
I have found that when I plug in a USB thumb drive it is automatically making the same back up to it as well. First of all, I didn't think this would automatically run a back up job and I don't see it running in applications or processes.
How do I stop this?

What have you setup to automate syncs? By default FFS doesn't setup any automated syncs. And if you plug in a USB drive and it gets assigned E: by windows of course a backup would go to it also.

I haven't set up anything to automate syncs and I can't see how it can be done with FFS. I have saved mirrored syncs to three different external hard drives. I assigned drive letters P and M to two of those drives and one Windows assigns E.What have you setup to automate syncs? By default FFS doesn't setup any automated syncs. The thumb drive has no software on it other than files I have copied there.

OK, I have just delved into FFS and see that there is a way to automate syncs. That said, I haven't initiated that so still don't see how this is happening. The particular job is over 50gb of data. So, even as I delete it it starts the job again on the thumb drive.
