Hello,
I'm trying to create scenario with:
- 2 computers ( both connects to NAS - windows share )
- 1 NAS ( share )
- 1 USB drive ( 1 way backup)
My setup ( both computers have FreeFileSync installed in RealTimeSync mode ):
1) Main computer with USB drive:
c:\test <> \\192.168.1.106\test [ 2 way sync between computer & NAS ]
c:\test >> z:\test.backup [ USB DRIVE - update new files from left to right ]
2) Secondary computer:
c:\test <> \\192.168.1.106\test [ 2 way sync between computer & NAS ]
My problems:
1) When I create file on 2nd computer it sync to NAS and then to 1st computer, but it does not copy to USB drive. When I stop RealTimeSync and run it again then file is copied to USB Drive ( it's not automatic ).
2) When I disconnect usb drive RealTimeSync waits with any sync until drive is reconnected ( so even 1st line with comp <> NAS is not active ).
What can I do to fix that issues or change idea of that scenario to be more effective?
UPDATE:
I solved 1st problem splitting 2 lines from 1st main computer into 2 ffs.batch and running 2 RealTimeSync sessions at the same time, but i'm not sure if this is proper usage :).
Thanks for help and greetings,
Mike
