Hello: The help for FreeFileSync says that LockDirectoriesDuringSync "allows to operate FreeFileSync with an arbitrary number of users in a network out of the box.". Does "users" refer to users of FreeFileSync or does it refer to any users on the network doing anything at all? I don't understand specifically how LockDirectoriesDuringSync is intended to be used. Thank you.

Yes, thank you. When you say "against a common network folder", does "against" mean "writing" to a common network folder?

And is it correct that LockDirectoriesDuringSync has nothing to do with Volume Shadow Copy?
