Hi i use your Software to make mirror backups of all my media and it works great but i have just found out one of my drives is failing due to something called Current Pending Sector Count and the Current Pending Sector Count is 725 which i am told is very high so the drive is not long for this world

what i wanted to know is if i do one final backup of my data before the drive fails will whatever this error is be transferred to the offline backup drive i use when using Freefilesync to backup my stuff I usually use the Mirror Option to Synchronize my source drive to my destination Drive

If you run with default settings, i.e. "fail-safe file copy" on, then you can be sure that no files are written to your target location while an error occurred at any stage of the copy process. Now if "no error" is equal to "all is well" with a flaky hard drive, could be a different story...
