Error message when using Win 7 Pro

I have a Dell Laptop and a desktop pc.

Both machines were dual boot setups (Winxp Home and Win 7 Pro)

I could use free file sync with no problems when both pc's were booted in xp

I have replaced xp with win 7 on the laptop

Now when I try to use the program to sync laptop (win7) with the desktop (win 7) , i get these errors.

Cannot set directory lock for \Desktop\c\ALLDL
Cannot write file '\Desktop\c\ALLDL\sync.ffs_lock'

Error code 5: Access is denied

Is there an easy way to fix this? I have no idea what is wrong.
