Trying FreeFileSync 5.18 for the first time to replace SyncToy, but get this (repeatable) error message part way through comparing folder pairs. Any thoughts why/how to fix?
Database file is corrupt:
'\\Home-win7\d\Malcolm\sync.ffs_db'
'D:\Malcolm\sync.ffs_db'
Setting default synchronization directions: Old files will be overwritten with newer files.
FFS 5.18 database error on Windows8 64bit

Just delete both sync.ffs_db's and rerun the sync.

Just ignoring the error and synchronizing will already be enough, FFS will then replace the invalid database files. If however this problem comes up again later, this might be something worth investigating.
