I tried same setting in my laptop windows7 Ultimate and its works
great without any errors
The only difference is that i am using 32 bit version and on the
pc with errors its 64bit windows installed
Both installations use version 5.20

I can't find a problem loading GlobalSettings.xml with the current FFS version. But at the file location where it fails there is a `"` character: Old FFS versions before 5.11 did not allow this within an xml element and would fail.

I took away the " characters and not got a new error that is about the batch file
Configurationfile 'c:\filesyncbatch\Tb1_to_Tb2.ffs_batch loaded partially only
Cannot read the following XML elements:
FreeFileSync MainConfig SyncConfic VersioningFolder
@Limit
Same files as before except for the change i mentioned
Another question
Why do you have to files for download that have the same name?

Check the FFS where these errors occur, it's probably not 5.20, but an older version.

All files is created in FreeFileSync Ver 5.20
I just installed exactly the same in a windows7 professional 64bit
and it worked perfect from first try
Seems to be something that is interfeering in Windows7 Ultimate 64 bit ?

The error message from your screenshot is not from 5.20, but an older release.

if i run the backup manually from the program it works fine
But if i put it as a scheduled work in windows the error shows up
I also did a scheduled work in Windows7 Professional and there is no
error at all
Same settings in both

You are running two different FFS versions on your system. The one showing the Error message box is not the same as the one showing the about dialog. Have a look into the Windows registry "HKLM Software\Classes\.ffs_batch" to find out where the old version is installed.

You nailed it
There was one more folder with FFS but it wasnt installed
only copied from his old installation
I pointed the schedule to the old program and used the new batch file
So thank you very much for the help
It saved me lot of time and grey hairs
