File sync from an egnyte folder

Hi,

I've been using Free File Sync to copy files from my computer to an external hard drive and it's working great.
But I recently tried to use it to copy files from the local folder of my egnyte cloud storage and received this error message:

Cannot set directory lock for 'D:\Egnyte Local Cloud\Shared\'.
Cannot write file 'D:\Egnyte Local Cloud\Shared\sync.ffs_lock'.
Error Code 5: Access is denied. (CreateFile)

I have tried changing the permissions on the folder but it doesn't seem to make any difference, can anyone shed any light on this?

I don't know this cloud service, but could it be some synchronization software process (like Dropbox) is running in the background and keeps a lock on this folder?

Did you try running FFS as administrator ? (right click)
