At first I'd like to thank you for the great and sophisticated application FreeFileSync.
FreeFileSync provides many functions, behaviors and oportunities which are not explained in the help-file. Nonetheless they are useful to know. The help-forum and the open discussion-forum are containing a lot of such interesting informations, but there systmatic search is time-consuming. So I beg you to make a FAQ for new and advanced users. Alternatively, the included help could contain such informations for advanced users.

Most of FFS's usage should be pretty self-explanatory. The non-obvious stuff that is required only in special cases is covered in the help file. So there isn't really that much left to explain with regards to FFS in particular.
What's not explained are general backup and synchronization concepts and in what scenarios the tool can be useful. It basically asserts that you know what you want and is designed to quickly guide you to your goal. Maybe this is the missing info you are referring to.
