Using function 'Analyze' to compare 'Documents' folder on C:, FFS shows a subfolder named 'Links' which is not shown by Windows Explorer. Does this subfolder 'Links' exist on C:\users\username\Documents or not ?

Is that "Links"-folder not simply a hidden folder?

You can check that by (temporary) activating the "Show hidden files, folders and drives"
option in Windows Explorer for C:\users\username\Documents (or for all folders).
Windows Explorer / Folder Options / tab:View / section:Files and Folders / Hidden files and folders

'Show hidden folders' indeed enabled - but root cause now found.
The WindowsExplorer folder view - as displayed in the "Detailed Report" - indeed is with "Show hidden folder" option enabled; that's why the two (hidden) folders 'hp. ...' are shown.
After further investigations I now believe that the problem is caused by the "Name versus Location concept problem" in Windows 8 (and Win7 and others) - freely named so by me not knowing what else to call it: The folder name displayed by Windows Explorer is not the name used by Windows for identifying the folder. In cmd.exe the Windows folder name (Location) is used - whereas in Windows Explorer the user-friendly (and language dependent) logical folder name is used.
Example concerning me (Danish) user 'Jørgen': Files containing music by default located in Windows folder (location) C:\Users\Jørgen\Music - same as Windows Explorer folder: Windows (C:) > Brugere > Jørgen > Musik. This problem more apparent for languages far from normal English spelling.
Apparently FFS is displaying folder name by location, so folder 'Links' designates a location with some (maybe different) Windows Explorer logical folder name. Fortunately there is a nice function in FFS: just right-click on the item and select "Open file location" (I guess that is the corresponding English text) - or alternatively press Enter on the item. Doing so in my system reveals the Windows Explorer name 'Favoritlinje' (Eng.: "Favorite line").
CONCLUSION: FFS and Windows Explorer do in fact display the same folders, but in some cases using different names.
Is there any setting option in FFS for displaying+using logical folder names ? - maybe a future improvement ?
