Couldn't find any discussion of how FreeFileSync might be affected by the new MacOS El Capitan's "rootless" security mode that apparently prevents software from doing a lot of things. As I understand it, a lot of software has to be rewritten, some will lose features, and some simply won't be able to adapt. What's the status of this?

I expect "rootless" won't have a special impact on FreeFileSync as long as the user is not trying to sync system directories. In any case, FreeFileSync is very thorough with regards to error handling, so if "rootless" breaks anything it won't go without notice.
