I have two requests for this amazing program. The first is one I know has been mentioned a couple times before, which is to clear the history of source and target directories. I realize this can be done by editing a config file, which isn't difficult, but it is a hassle. It would be so much quicker and easier to be able to just do a couple clicks within the program and clear it.
The second is to copy with a verify mode. For example, I might have c:\1 and c:\2 that I want to copy to d:, but there’s no way to do this currently except for making empty folders for d:\1 and d:\2 then comparing and syncing each individually. I’d like a mode where I can just browse to a directory and see all its contents, then in the right pane browse to another directory and see its contents, then drag and drop and have it copy or move the contents with byte-by-byte verification. Essentially accomplishing within the program what a program like TeraCopy does via shell extensions, since TC and every other one I have found has issues and I’m hopeful as good as FFS is with what it does that it could perform this task equally well. If you wanted to be really ambitious, you could even add explorer integration to perform a verified copy or move by dragging between windows like Teracopy.
