I don't really like the progress graph during file sync that was introduced in
4.1. I would much prefer a traditional progress bar. Can we make the graph an
option that can be disabled?

Strange graph what is the use of time and moved data. Why not mb/second?

The graph allows to get an overall picture how synchronization went so far
including temporary stalls or speed increases.
"Total bytes" was used for the graph as it is the simplest data to show. .
"speed" on the other hand needs additional configuration: 1. window width to
calculate speed at a particular moment 2. Outliers in speed will screw up
proportions. Therefore it is required to have yet another window for total
range displayed.

My 2 cents: I really like the new graph! It gives much more information than a
normal progress bar, and shows the instantaneous speed of the transfer. Really
cool!

I agree wholeheartedly with alfredska. I would prefer a progress bar as well,
or at least give users the ability to disable the progress view completely. I
personally run FreeFileSync several times per day, so the syncs normally last
only a couple of seconds, at most. For this type of use, tracking progress is
rather pointless. For now, I'm sticking with V4.0 - the last version before
the progress graph was introduced. Thanks for listening...

I agree with dragonbook, I would prefer a graph of the speed in MB/s and items/s instead.
My 2 cent :
You could just display a progress bar, and a button "More" to expand the window and display speed graphs ? Anyway, that's just cosmetics, not a big deal.
