Hi, again, and thanks for a wonderful program (again)!
I've started using FFS with multiple folder pairs and I would like to make two
minor suggestions.
1. Since the left folder is treated as the "primary" one (as seen in sync settings) and most people read/act left-to-right, shouldn't the "add folder pair" button (symbol: "+") be on the left side?
2. The program remembers my last "view set-up" i.e the position, width etc of the various panels.
Using e.g. eight folder pairs (and viewing their paths simultaneously)
requires me to increase the width of the respective panel.
But when I open another configuration file, which, for example, has only one
folder pair to synchronize, the program still retains the previous "wide-
panel" view set-up.
So, I'm thinking, maybe the view set-up should be specific to the
configuration file (.ffs_gui) and not to the whole program.
Hope these thoughts help!
Multiple folder pairs & minor GUI su...

1.> There's no specific reason for this placement.
2. > The *.ffs_gui file is designed to contain sync-relevant configuration only. Therefore GUI settings shouldn't be included. So what's needed is an algorithm that sets height intelligently. If there is only one folder pair available, it's clear what should be done: shrink to fit to one folder pair. Last time I had a look at this there was a technical complication that didn't allow shrinking this window. When I got the time I'll have a look at this again.

Therefore GUI settings shouldn't be included
Funny reading these two statements in context ;) But they're still correct.
What's awkward is the name "ffs_gui". It is not meant to contain everything
that has to do with gui but rather means "non-batch".
