Hello,
I am aiming to set up FFS to work as a backup system for a family member.

I set the left hand side to C:\Users\Wendy

and the right side to E:\Wendy Backups

We only want 4 folders from the Users folder to be backed up or mirrored
therefore we set up a filter to INCLUDE the following:
\My Pictures
\My Documents
\My Videos
\My Music

When setting it up we wanted to test it purely with one of these folders so we
included just the \My Pictures folder for now.

All other sync and comparison settings were set and the compare button was
clicked.

Nothing appears in the folder list whatsoever.

Sometimes when comparing, the file list on the left hand side shows up a
Pictures folder and the statistics area at the lower right shows one thing to
mirror but that it has no size.

Why isn't this working? - This should be an easy sync but it's causing lots of
frustration!

Please help.

Thanks

Neil

The correct syntax is "\My Pictures\*". Maybe I should add some more examples
to the filter dialog.

PS: Using the multiple folder pair feature may be the simplest solution.

What's the multiple folder pair feature?

That's the little green button at the left side of the right directory input
field.

When I click the green button, the program seems to freeze and not do
anything?

This issue has now been fixed. It needed the asterix to be added.

Thanks
