I use batch job a lot because once I end up synchronizing the wrong folders
and lost gigabytes of data. However, I wish to see the FreeSync folder
comparison so we could see what is about to change and before we confirm the
change instead of doing it all in one shot.
In short, the feature I am asking is to have a batch that open FreeFileSync
normally, and load the folders preset in the batch.

You can use a *.ffs_gui file. This is exactly what they are made for.
BTW: *.ffs_gui and *.ffs_batch can be converted into each other

thank you very much
I didn't know about this feature. To me,both scripts are almost the same
except one parameter: gui or no gui option (well that's not really true since
the XML is slightly different between the 2 files). I was simply expecting all
batches features to be in the same location. Took me a while to figure out how
this work.

It has been discussed if the two file formats could be combined into a single
one. But currently the main benefit from having the two is a distinct file-
icon for each type on windows.
