I would appreciate if I could have as much desktop space available for the
file table as possible.
So I suggest to move all the stuff at the bottom of FreeFileSync window
(Configuration+Filter Files tab + Statistics)
to a menu. That would allow to enlarge the file table above.
Is this possible in the next release?

main GUI is designed to contain the most important items at positions directly
visible and accessible. This is an implicit statement about importance of
elements (file filtering, view filter) as well as convenience (statistics,
configuration loading). Putting them into menus unconditionally would make
them useless (statistics) or inconvenient (view filters).
So the best thing that could be done would probably be an option like "full
screen view" that hides specific elements on demand (e.g. via F11)
