Hi,
I would like to sync a lot (100+) of network computers:
\\compname1\c$\source
\\compname2\c$\source
\\compname3\c$\source
...etc...
Half of them are not online all the time as they are laptops for example.
I have 2 scenarios - failed both of them fails sadly:
1) use RealTimeSync.
The problem is: it wont start as long all the sources are not available. This happens very rarely ...
However it would be my favorite solution.
2) use a scheduled windows task to start an ffs_batch job.
Wich would be nice -i know it could happen, that some machines are not synced for days as they rarely online - but i can ignore that, but in 99% of the cases it gives an error:
"Cannot find the following folders"
the error lists ALL the source paths from all the computers, however i know for sure most of them are online and available.
It seems to me (but I did not tested it yet) if after each other more then 1 sources are unavailable then FFS drops all the rest of them.
Do i do somehting wrong, or is there any workaround or simple FFS is not the right product for me?
Thank you in advance regards
