hi,
I have a strange problem , I am syncing folders from a mac to a NAS
/users/joe/desktop
it runs as a batch file each night but fails. the error is that FFS cannot find the NAS target directory.
/Volumes/Staff/Joe/Desktop
when I browse to the NAS target directory to reconnect the target the target gets a -1 added to the the share
/Volumes/Staff-1/Joe/Desktop
the sync then works properly, then the next time the batch runs it fails again and to get the sync to work the target path when browsed to becomes
/Volumes/Staff-2/Joe/Desktop
anyone seen this type of behavior or know how to fix it?
thanks in advance
NAS folder needs changing??

this problem was because the FFS could not see the NAS folder location
solution was.
create a login item on the mac to open the NAS folder upon login, the FFS could see the NAS folder location
