hi,
i user freefilesync portable and therefore i copy it on some pc's.
since the last update (8.0) there is a problem when starting!
Program tells erroro at starting. some problem with install.dat!? (see attached file)
After installing all its ok, but after next copy from portable Folder same problem!

So i will downgrade to V 7.9 till this problem is fixed!
If this cant be solved, i'll look for another sync tool,because i user freefilesync automatically synct on ALL my devices.
on some pc's it is not allowed to install software (at work) so that there is no possibility without portable features!

We have same problem with FFS 8.1.
We noticed that when install.dat file is older than six days you will get error message.
If you create new FFS portable (new install.dat) you can use it for installations again six days.
Hopefully this will be fixed quickly, we have just started to deploy this program in our company.
